Marvin Link 2009 Distinguished Service Award by Phillip Collins

Link’s receipt seems fitting since he was involved in its inception in 1985. The idea, according to Link, was inspired by the Legion of Honor award that is annually conferred by Dayton’s Presidents Club. “We, the forming members of the Presidents Club didn’t want to duplicate the award’s title,” Link said. “So we decided on the Distinguished Service Award.”
